After close to 20 years of congestive heart failure, my heart is giving up the fight and is only working at 10% and new heart was found for me. This is truly a blessing…a part of my cardiac rehab and clinic appointments I must be in the area of the hospital for 3 months post transplant.
I have been a member of Grand Valley, from GWS to Parachute, over the last 20+ years where I have worked and volunteered in the communities. Many of you know me and probably didn’t know of my heart problems. It is a part of me, but it doesn’t define me.
While I am insured, many of the enormous expenses involved with transplantation such as co-pays, medicines, travel and hospital cost are not covered.
I have chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Thank you for your support!
