Dear Malvin,

Today we celebrate 27 years of wedded bliss! Well, maybe 25 years or so of bliss and a few scattered times of less than bliss....just sayin'! ;-)

Song of Solomon 3:4--I found the one whom my soul loves. Only through the grace of God could I be so blessed to have you as my husband, standing beside me in this journey toward transplant. When we said in sickness and in health I don't think either of us thought it would be pretty much all sickness on my part, yet you have honored your vow and endured with love.

Today I thank you for all that you have been, and all that you are--and I pray that we have many more years together so we can celebrate all that you will be. I love you!

Dear friends, my family and I can't begin to express how much the thoughts, prayers, hugs, prayers, food, prayers, rides to doctors, prayers, stories of hope, and prayers have touched us over these first four months of this campaign! All of you have given so much in so many ways, it just blows us away! Reaching the first goal of $20,000 so soon just blows us away as well! THANK YOU from the depths of our hearts!

You will notice the goal has been moved up to $50,000. In the past four months I have learned that my post-transplant medications will be significantly more expensive than I first estimated thanks to a different insurance classification, and not being able to discontinue an expensive pre-transplant medication. Also, I have learned the most recent average cost of a double lung transplant is now $1.3 million, which means my share will be roughly $260,000. In light of these increasing amounts, I've increased our goal. I'm excited to see how quickly we can reach it!

Thank you again to every single one of you who has supported us in any way since this transplant journey began, but most especially thank you for your prayers! We feel them and we cherish them! Please keep them coming! And know we pray for all of you too! XX

This is someone I know closely that is very humble and has helped a homeless shelter and many homeless pets in a quiet way not wanting any glory for her countless hours and dollars that she has given. Now this transplant is life saving and she can not be on the list unless she has a certain amount of money down. If ever there was a worthy cause this is one . Please share this and encourage your friends to give. Thank you Cynthia you so much for doing the many things you have for people that will never know.
