I’m a happy 4 year old yorkie/doxie mix rescued 2 years ago by my kind new wonderful new mom, Joan. She gave me a chance at happiness and I want to help her find the same joy right now. She is my whole world and takes the best care of me every day. Two years ago when I came into her life my mom was fairly healthy. We used to walk daily, go to dog parks and have lots of fun. However, we can no longer do those things due to her stage 4 COPD.
I am asking anyone who can help me rescue her, like she rescued me. She has received the gift of a lifetime with a new set of lungs and needs help getting healthy and back to me so we can have some fun and cuddle again. She will need help to fund medications and related medical expenses not covered by insurance to fight off rejection and infections. I am so eager to have my strong vibrant mom back. After all, she is my whole world!
Family and friends of Joan are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation. Joan has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

With both of us being rescued, it gives us the opportunity to pay it forward to others in need. One person at a time and one dog or animal at a time. It truly does take a village. Thank you tons from the bottom of my little heart!
