Wheelchair Accessible Van Fundraiser
I am raising money to purchase a wheelchair accessible van so I can take my power wheelchair with me. I currently can only use my manual wheelchair with my SmartDrive power assist when I go someplace. This requires taking apart my wheelchair each time, loading it, unloading it, and reassembling when I go someplace and for each of my stops. Also, my manual wheelchair with the SmartDrive is not reliable and not suitable for anything other than using at home. Every trip I take requires extra energy and due to my conditions is painful to disassemble, load, unload and reassemble. I also have several fatigue related conditions and need to converse as much energy as possible. I have a power chair but have no way of taking it with me. I only use it for walks around my home at this time.
