Fundraiser for Jack Weeks at Lewes Yacht Club

On June 27, 2020, Jack Weeks was enjoying a day with family at Lewes Beach at the tip of Cedar Street. This full of life teen went running into the water, dove, and broke his neck leaving him a quadriplegic. Everyday heroes acted and got Jack out of the water, resuscitated him, and prepared him for transport to Beebe Hospital and a flight up to Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington. In an instant his life and those around him changed forever.

Join us Sunday, November 7, from 4-6pm, as we celebrate the human spirit. Hear from Jack's dad, Kip Weeks, during a brief presentation about this young man and promising technologies to help him gain mobility and further independence. Learn about Jack's struggles, successes, and challenges for the future. Jack will join us via live video.
