Aly’s Custom Wheelchair Fund

Aly Corvin needs our help.

For the last three years, Aly has fought relentlessly through every hoop imaginable in hopes of receiving a wheelchair that actually fits her medical needs. After all this time, despite clear written medical necessity, she recently learned that due to insurance formalities and restrictions, the only way to get the chair that will prevent further spinal damage and potentially avoid spinal surgery is to raise $20,000 out of pocket.

If there were any other way, she would take it. Anyone who knows Aly knows she has never stopped fighting. But this is a barrier she simply cannot break through alone.

The wheelchair Aly currently uses has been helpful, but it doesn’t fit her body, doesn’t support her conditions, and is actively contributing to the progression of issues that could force her into surgery far sooner than necessary. A properly fitted, custom wheelchair isn’t a luxury for Aly, it’s the medical equipment she requires to stay safe, independent, and able to continue the work she does for others; and that work is extraordinary.

Aly is an advocate, creator, leader, and changemaker in the disability community. She shows up for everyone around her regardless of her circumstances. She uplifts athletes, dancers, creators, and young people trying to find their voice, especially in the chronic illness and disability communities. She breaks down stigma, expands access to adventure, and gives people hope by showing what’s possible. She is the kind of person who makes the community stronger simply by being in it.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

This is a moment for the community! Friends, allies, and anyone who believes in accessibility, equity, and empowerment have the opportunity to come together and support Aly in whatever way they can. Whether through donations, sharing her story, or simply spreading the word, every action makes a difference.

Aly deserves this wheelchair. She deserves safety, comfort, mobility, and the chance to keep doing the work that changes lives. She has already given so much of herself to this community.

Let’s help give something back.

Support Aly however you see fit. Together, we can make this happen.
